There is
a simple procedure that can be used to add even the biggest numbers without
problems so we don’t always have to calculate them in our head.
Example:
What is the result of 4 393 829 plus 593 319?
To
calculate this you put both equations under each other; ones under ones,
tens under tens, hundreds under hundred and so on. Then you add the
ones, then the tens, …
