The tangent function in the unit circle

The unit circle is assigned to the angle alpha in the center of the quotient of sin alpha and cos alpha. The angle alpha can not have 90 degrees because the tangent is on the outside of the circle.

Tangent function in the coordinate system

The tangent curve is an off funtion that is exactly symetric to the point 0 (0;0) and repeats itself (periodically) after 180 degrees.
