Ø                  General quadrangle

A general quadrangle is a quadrangle without a special characteristic. There are at least five informative facts needed to know about its construction.

Ø                  Rectangle

A rectangle is a quadrangle with two symmetrical axels that are each half perpendicular from the opposite side. To know about its construction, there are at least two informative facts needed.

Ø                  Square

A square is a quadrangle with four symmetrical axels. To know about its construction, only one informative fact is needed.

Ø                  Parallelogram

A parallelogram is a point-symmetrically quadrangle. There are at least three informative facts to know about its construction.

Ø                  Trapezoid

A trapezoid is a quadrangle that has two sides opposite of each other that lie parallel. To know about its construction, there are four facts of information needed. Particularity of the symmetrical trapezoid (picture): The symmetrical trapezoid is a quadrangle with a symmetrical axis which is the middle perpendicular of two sides. There are three facts of information needed to know about its construction, in contrast to the normal trapezoid.

Ø                  Rhombus

A rhombus is a quadrangle with two symmetrical axels that each go through the corner points on the opposite side. For its construction, there are at least two facts of information needed.

Ø                  Kite

A kite is a quadrangle with a symmetrical axis that goes through two corner points. There are at least three facts of information needed for its construction.
