Divisor and divisor quantities
The divisor is a number that is used to divide other
numbers. All numbers in which a number is able to be divided by is obtained
in the divisor quantity.
Example: Divisor quantity of 9
T9 = (1, 3, 9)
Other divisor quantities:
T2 = {1,2}
T4 = {1, 2, 4}
T10 = {1, 2, 5, 10}
T12 = {1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12}
T18 = {1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 18}
The first number in the quantity times the last number
equals the number of the divisor quantity. That also counts for the second
with the second to last, third with the third to last, s on and so forth.
There is a short way of writing for “a is the divisor of
b”: a | b:
Examples:
4 | 12 (4
is the divisor of 12)
8 | 96 (8 is the divisor of 96)
5 | 45 (5 is the divisor of 45)
3 | 237 (3 is the divisor of 237)
